Instructions
1. Create a loose twist to achieve the sophisticated updo worn by Jessica at the 12th Annual Critics' Choice Awards. The key to keeping Biel's look natural is to use as few pins and as little texturizer and hairspray possible to secure the twist. Allow shorter hair layers to fall around the face to soften the look.

2. Get layers. Whether wearing her hair up or down, wavy or straight, Jessica's long layers add fullness add body to her lovely locks. Long layers that start at chin level compliment most face shapes and soften facial features.

3. Experiment with color. A natural brunette, Biel plays with varying shades of color, ranging from light blonde to deep chestnut brown. Natural-looking highlights add depth and a sun-kissed look to the actress's hair.

4. Use Kerastase Oleo-Relax Serum to add shine, repair damage and control frizz. One of Jessica Biel's favorite hair products, the serum keeps her hair looking healthy despite constant cuts and colors for acting roles.

5. Find a low maintenance look. Jessica admits her lack of hairstyling skills, claiming a virtual inability to blow dry her mane straight. She prefers a low fuss cut that allows her to look great with little effort. Reserve the complicated hairdos for special occasions, when you can hire someone else to do the work.

6. Mix it up. Although Biel usually wears her hair long, she sported a punk-inspired shoulder length hairdo in 1998, when starring in television's "7th Heaven," and a sleek bob in 2006, after filming "The Illusionist."
