Anna Kournikova is a very successful semi-retired Russian tennis player. Although she was a highly talented and gifted tennis star, some people feel she was distracted by all the media attention to her, due to her outstanding natural beauty.

At one point she was one of the most searched for terms in the popular search engine Google Images. She had many fans throughout the world, not just wanting to see pictures of Anna Kournikova but also to watch her play tennis, as she was after all a highly talented professional tennis star.

Although Anna is currently just 26 years of age (she was born in Moscow in 1981), she is actually a semi-retired tennis player and model. Many ex tennis players and critics feel that she quit the game at a far too early point in her career, but others feel that she was always destined to be more of a star on the catwalk then on the tennis courts.
