Waterfalls Provide an Insight Into Nature at Work
The essence in creation is the same between all the waterfalls and this is the difference in the hardness of the rock. The hard rock is naturally harder to erode and as the water flows over thousands of years the softer rock erodes away and this produces the cliff or face of the waterfall and this is the formation of the falls. At the base of the waterfall is what is known as the plunge pool and this is created when some of the water falls onto the cliff face and erodes back into the cliff and the pool is formed.
