Theatre
Sheena started her career as a theatre actor in Kolkata, with Paditik school of performing arts, where she worked on stage. As a young girl, while in school she became involved in the theater and worked in many plays, starting with theater directors like Kunal Padhi, in her first Shakespeare's plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream,as Hermia, with thespian Shyamanand Jalan, in Adhe Adhure, and moving to Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group. She trained under eminent theatre director Arvind Gaur. She participated in his theatre workshop at India Habitat Centre and acted in several plays. Her first play with Arvind Gaur was Ek Mamooli Aadmi. On February 13, 2012 it was announced that Chohan has been officially selected as the face and host of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T-20 tournament.
Film Career
Sheena joined Anupam Khers acting course, at Actor Prepares in 2010. Sheena moved to Mumbai and did her first commercial in Mumbai with Kunal Kohli productions, when National Award winning director Jayaraj, spotted her in an add commercial, and offered her the lead role in "The Train", opposite south superstar Mammootty. Sheena made her acting debut with the Malayalam film ‘The Train’ co-starring superstar Mammootty, directed by Jayaraj, Indian National Award winning Director. Released in 2011, the film became critically and commercially successful a box office hit and her performance was especially applauded[citation needed].
Hosting
She has been chosen as the face of first season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL 2012). "I love sports and cricket is one of my favourite sports. I have always followed IPL matches and World Cup and cheered for my favourite team. But I never realized the effort and detailing that went into each and every match till today when I got an opportunity to be a part of BPL 2012. Bangladesh Premiere League has given me an excellent platform to witness and enjoy the journey of this great sport as well as observe the cricket fanatics cheering to its top. My role is to connect with the audience, share their journey of learning as well as present this journey in a more enjoyable and intriguing manner. I am really honored to be a part of this international sports extravaganza and I am looking forward to this new experience which will help me connect and reach out to a much larger audience," the Kolkata-born actress said.
